Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Family Home Live-In Care Manager to oversee the daily operations of our adult family home. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a Nurse Delegator, and possess strong administrative skills to handle all documentation and paperwork for our clients. This role is essential for ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care in a warm and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Resident Care:
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Monitor residents’ health and report any changes to healthcare providers.
  • Administer medications and treatments as delegated by a registered nurse (RN).
  • Coordinate and implement individualized care plans for each resident.
2. Nurse Delegation:
  • Perform nursing tasks as delegated by a registered nurse, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and effectively.
  • Train and supervise other caregivers in performing delegated tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all nurse delegation regulations and guidelines.
3. Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each resident, including medical histories, care plans, and medication administration logs.
  • Complete and file all necessary documentation and paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Handle admissions and discharges of residents, including coordinating with healthcare providers and families.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing adult family homes.
4. Home Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the home, including scheduling staff, managing supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and efficient home management.
  • Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
5. Professional Development:
  • Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and continuing education requirements.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Nurse Delegator certification or eligibility for delegation by a registered nurse.
  • Proven experience in caregiving and nurse delegation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
